I was going to use plaster board wall plugs but know its best not to put any stress on the tiles.

Just wondered what best practice was.
Since you are fitting light items only this should work fine.
I also thought about the rigifix fixings but as all shower screens i ve seem require two holes close together i can t see them working but could.

Use an ordinary wall plug but leave its shoulder level with the face of the tile.

I was thinking of plasterboard anchors but they don t appear to be designed for use with tiles as the need to dig into the plaster.

1 fpr fischer fixings however you shouldn t be using plasterboard in a shower enclosure use tile backing board instead hardibacker board.
