We can work out the height required when we design your system. Homes built on varying terrain have their own set of chimney and flue regulations. The minimum height of the top of the flue varies depending on where it is on the roof. The picture below may illustrate it better than my words.

This is a bit of an odd measurement and chimney clearance case because the chimney side is actually about 8 away from the roof edge.
