Ford Flex Vista Roof Leak

I just brought my flex to the ford delaer with vista sunroof leak on drivers side water on rear driver s side floor and liner on driver s side.

Issue some 2011 2013 flex vehicles may exhibit a water leak from the roof opening panel area. The panoramic vista roof was sliding rather slowly and had not been cleaned to my knowledge. I confirmed with a 2nd wash in my driveway. They diagnosed the issue as a broken left rear drain tube and quoted me 800 to replace.

It has been to the dealer twice and the headliner dropped once. Went 18 months and 21k miles and now i have a roof leak of some sorts. Recently i noticed a water leak dripping into the rear compartment below the rear fuse box. I removed the vista glass and performed a deep cleaning then lub.

We don t get rain any more in central ca so this is the only way to discover a roof leak. The drain tube on the drivers side has been cleaned out and air forced through it but we still have a leak. They fixed it at no charge but it took. See pictures for more detail.

I have a 2009 ford flex with the vista roof and sunroof and have a leak that can t be found. How old are the hoses. I have a vista roof and have not located any cracks. It originally leaked out of the right rear pillar and then into the spare tire well.

Local ford dealer has looked at it 4 times and can t find the source. 1 align roof opening panel. Water saturates headliner approximately where the rear drain tube is connected. It has the factory installed roof rails.
